Belva Joann Hudson age 79 of Lebanon, died Friday evening, June 12, 2026 at her residence. Born Nov. 16, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Joe Whitehead and Belva Mae Harpe Whitehead. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Earl Hudson on May 1, 2023, a grandson, Chase Hoover and great granddaughter, Cadance Thibodeaux; a brother, Ronald Warden and sisters, Judy Rollins and Donna Hearn.
Joann is survived by her children, Jeanie Hoover of Lebanon, Sherrie Lee of Bowling Green, KY and Todd Hudson and his wife, Wendy of Watertown; grandchildren, JJ (Kayla) Hoover, Nicolette Daugherty, Dalton Hudson, Kayla Altmiller, Victoria (Eric) Calvert; great grandchildren, Mason and Jaydin Hoover, Ellie Jo and Hudson Lane Daugherty, Camryn Luke Daugherty, Aiden Beck, Gavin and Addison Thibodeaux, Kennedy Altmiller, Natalie and Chloe Hoover. She is also survived by great great grandchildren, Mary Jane Hoover, Nolen and Easton Hudson, and arriving in September, Theodore Calvert. Nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Karl Hudson officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday and from 11 a.m. till service time on Tuesday. Pallbearers, JJ Hoover, Jaydin Hoover, Mason Hoover, Dalton Hudson, Dwayne Grissim, Hunter Grissim. Interment will follow at Wilson Co. Memorial Park. Please remember Joann by wearing something with cobalt blue, her favorite color.
