Angie Russell, age 58, of Lebanon, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on October 3, 2025. The celebration of life is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 12, 2025, in the Chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon, Tennessee at 313 W. Baddour Pkwy. Visitation at the funeral home on Sunday is from 12:00 p.m. until service at 2 p.m.
Angela Doreen Gragg Russell was born in Cookeville, Tennessee, to Ethel Doris Puckett Gragg and Arnold Allison Gragg. She attended Middle Tennessee State University, then established a dedicated career as a court reporter. She enjoyed fishing, hiking, frisbee golf, and travels to the beach. She married the love of her life on September 14, 2002. Angie and Jody were true soulmates. Her dogs and her husband were her anchors and greatest joy in life.
Angie loved her family and her Lord and Savior. She had the sweetest disposition and was the most loving and caring person that you will ever meet. She had a true gift in caregiving and possessed a self-less heart to help others. She epitomized the verse: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” It was easy to fall in love with her and the sunshine that she radiated. A true joy to others, she will forever be missed by everyone that knew and loved her.
Angie is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Jody Russell; father, Allison Gragg; sister, Sandy Jones (Jeremy); nieces, Ally Jones and Olivia Jones; nephews, Tanner Jones and Tyler Jones; parents-in-law, Gayle and Tony Russell; brother-in-law, Cory Russell; and fur baby, Charlie BoBo Russell. She is preceded in death by her mother Doris Gragg, maternal grandparents Nina and Bradley Puckett, paternal grandparents Cloa and Robert T. Gragg, brother-in-law Rodney Russell, and fur babies Butter, Peaches, and Dexter Russell.
