Driver, Alice Willodene Smith, age 82, a devoted homemaker and loving wife and mother, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2025. Born and raised in Mt. Juliet, TN, Willodene dedicated her life to creating a warm and nurturing home for her family, always putting their needs first. She found joy in tending to her flowers and garden. Her homegrown tomatoes were a source of pride. She loved to travel and has visited many parts of the world. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Sonia Kay Driver, her parents, Willard and Katherine Smith, brother, W.C. Smith, sister, Margaret Hardeman, and stepfather, Harry Patton.
She is survived by:
Beloved Husband of 66 years– Clyde Driver
Daughter – Alysia (Ken) English
Grandchildren – Allison (Shannon) Carnathan, Nicole (Tony Ewin) Crouch, and Brandon English
Great Grandchildren – Lexi (Brandon) Johnston, Carson Crouch, Cambria Ewin, Cameron English, Bailey and Madison English, and Christian Ewin
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday March 12, 2025, at Bond Memorial Chapel with Chuck Groover officiating. Pallbearers will be Brandon English, Ken English, Eddie McDonald, Brandon Johnston, Carson Crouch, Shannon Carnathan, and Tony Ewin.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to Alive Hospice.
