The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) has completed the new alignment of State Route 141 (Hartsville Pike) in Wilson County. A traffic swap will take place on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, resulting in a new road name for a portion of the former SR 141.

This new SR 141/Hartsville Pike alignment (pictured in blue) runs from Oakdale Drive to a new intersection with US 70 (East High Street/East Baddour Parkway/Lebanon Bypass). The new intersection at US 70 will provide an improved alternative to the existing intersection, which experiences congestion within a compact roadway with minimal vehicle storage. The opening of the new alignment is resulting in address changes on the old SR 141 (pictured in red) and will now be known as Hazelwood Drive. TDOT has collaborated with emergency services, the U.S. Postal Service, and the City of Lebanon for several months to prepare for this change.

The opening of the new Hartsville Pike marks a milestone in TDOT’s SR 141 (Hartsville Pike) Phase 1 widening project, which expands the roadway from two lanes to four lanes from Africa Road into downtown Lebanon.

Phase 1 is estimated to be completed by December 2026. Phase 2 of this project in Trousdale County is also progressing, with beams for the new bridge over the Cumberland River being set on Friday, November 21.
