The Lebanon City Council approved the purchase of two new police vehicles on the first reading on Tuesday evening, September 17.

A grant was received to purchase vehicles; however, the council added additional funds to complete the purchase. Additionally, the Lebanon City Council approved on first reading a budget amendment to purchase ten patrol units for $300,000.

The Lebanon Police Department’s Court Fees pay for the new patrol units, as the court fees can only be used to purchase vehicles or equipment for the cars.
