January 26, 2025 – A 31-year-old Nashville man, a convicted felon on federal probation for unlawfully transporting firearms, was arrested Saturday night after police say he evaded officers, resisted arrest and was found in possession of a handgun and over 10 varieties of illegal, dangerous drugs.

Following the arrest, officers discovered the man was in possession of a handgun and numerous dangerous drugs, including fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, mushrooms, and various pills. He was arrested and booked into the Wilson County Jail, with many charges, including being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, felony evading, misdemeanor evading, resisting arrest, and multiple counts of possession with intent to sell controlled substances ranging from Schedules I to VI. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license.
