A Middle Tennessee police department is recognizing several officers for their dedication and advancement within the ranks.
The Mt. Juliet Police Department held a promotion ceremony honoring three officers, surrounded by their families and fellow team members. During the event, Chief Chandler presented each officer with a plaque to mark the milestone in their careers.
Officer Brian Cruz has been promoted to Detective and will serve in the Criminal Investigations Unit. Officer Devin Foley has been promoted to Corporal, where he will take on a leadership role supervising a team on D-Detail patrol. Corporal Ethan Bachman has been promoted to Sergeant and will lead B-Detail patrol.
Department leaders say the promotions reflect each officer’s commitment, experience, and readiness to take on greater responsibility. The ceremony also highlighted the support of their families, recognizing the role they play behind the scenes.
Officials say the advancements represent a positive step for both the department and the community it serves.
