August 20, 2025 – A Mt. Juliet man was charged this morning with two counts of felony cocaine possession following a months long narcotics investigation by MNPD Specialized Investigations Division detectives, with assistance from TBI HIDTA, Mt. Juliet Police, and Wilson County Sheriff’s Department. Michael Bell, 52, was found to have been an active drug trafficker during high-end parties he hosted in Nashville.
Bell was stopped by Wilson County deputies on Tuesday where mushrooms and cocaine were recovered from inside his vehicle. A subsequent search warrant of his Mt. Juliet home led to the recovery of cocaine, MDMA, mushroom plants, methamphetamines, THC infused bars and digital scales. MNPD detectives also searched his Nashville storage unit where a half a kilogram of cocaine/fentanyl was located.
Bell is being held on $95,000 bond, however several more narcotics charges are anticipated as the investigation continues.
