Man, Wanted Woman Arrested After Drugs Found in Mt. Juliet

June 13, 2024 – Two people have been arrested after police located drugs during a traffic stop in Mt. Juliet Thursday night.

Around 9:10 p.m., a traffic stop on Herschel Dr, following a handicapped parking violation, led officers to the discovery of an impaired driver, wanted person, and crack cocaine for resale.

After the stop was made, the female passenger ran away from the car as the lone officer remained with the driver. Back-up officers found the female hiding in bushes at the Quality Inn hotel. Crack cocaine in individually wrapped baggies, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia were found within the car.

The driver, a 57-year-old male from Nashville, was found to be driving while under the influence and on a revoked drivers license.

The passenger, a 46-year-old female from Nashville, was found to be impaired and wanted out of Wilson and Williamson County for warrants related to failure to appear on charges of simple possession and driving on a suspended drivers license.
