May 31, 2024 – A driver was arrested after being in possession of methamphetamine and attempting to flee during a traffic stop in Lebanon on Wednesday, according to police.

A Lebanon Police officer noticed a black pickup truck traveling in the opposite direction that was being driven by Killian Ellis.

Ellis was known to have multiple warrants out for his arrest, including evading arrest, reckless endangerment, and resisting arrest. Police was able to turn around and conduct a traffic stop on Ellis at the Shell Gas Station on Sparta Pike. Ellis did not stop and continued on through the parking lot. Once through the parking lot, the officer safely drove around Ellis in an attempt to cut him off.

The officer stepped out and ordered Ellis to shut the vehicle off. Wilson County Deputies then arrived on scene and blocked Ellis off completely. Ellis tried to drive off, nearly crashing into a WCSO police cruiser. Once arrested, officers searched the vehicle and found a bag of meth, scales, and cash.

On top of the outstanding warrants, Ellis was arrested on several charges, including assault with a deadly weapon, possession of methamphetamine, and felony evading arrest.
