In May 2024, Elia Group announced the acquisition of Valentine on Lower Broadway – this move was one of the first steps in the plan to open multiple concepts in Nashville over three years. Valentine will close for renovations on September 14th, the renovations aim to refresh the building’s design, enhancing the experience while preserving the iconic Nashville roots. When doors reopen, guests can expect to see an elevated new vibe created by Elia and a celebrity partner expected to be announced in early 2026.

As Valentine prepares to close for renovations, the restaurant’s staff have the opportunity to continue serving guests at Zuzu, ensuring a commitment to the local hospitality community and offering growth opportunities for Elia Group team members.

The celebrity-focused reimagining of The Valentine by Elia Group, headquartered at 222 Second Ave S. in downtown Nashville, is the next step in its strategic plan and long-term commitment to the city. A plan that pairs immersive design, elevated hospitality, and a forward-thinking approach to placemaking

“Nashville is a city with soul, and Elia Group is honored to continue becoming a part of its story. Through the renovation of Valentine, we’re not just revitalizing a space — we’re investing in the local culture, the people, and the energy that make this city unique. Our vision is to create welcoming destinations that serve as a reflection of the community and contribute meaningfully to its continued growth.”— Zaid Elia, Founder & CEO, Elia Group
