Drivers in Mt. Juliet were urged to use caution earlier today after loose sheep were reported near a busy roadway.
Mt. Juliet Police issued an alert about sheep in the area of Devonshire Drive and Lebanon Road, possibly in or near the roadway. Officers and Animal Control responded and worked to safely corral the animals.
Police later confirmed the sheep were secured and the situation was resolved without incident.
