Lebanon Police Promotes to Special Operations Division Sergeant to Lieutenant

Lebanon Police Department has announced the promotion of Jesse Scott to Special Operations Division Lieutenant.

Jesse is originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He moved to Watertown, Tennessee in 2005 where he later graduated from Watertown High School in 2007. Soon after, Jesse began college at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) where he earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice in 2010.

He started his career in law enforcement at the Clarksville Police Department in 2011 where he served for two years. He began employment with the Lebanon Police Department in 2013. Jesse has served in the patrol division as an Officer, FTO, and Corporal then later in the SOD division, as the FLEX unit Sergeant. He’s also served on the department’s SWAT team for ten years. His current roles on the SWAT team are Assistant Team Leader and Lead Explosives Breacher.

Additionally, Jesse has previously received a letter of commendation for service above and beyond as well as awards for the same. He’s completed hundreds of hours of training much of which has been focused on leadership and supervision.
