Lebanon Police Department has announced the promotion of Brian Speer to D-Detail Sergeant!
Brian was born and raised in White House, Tennessee. He began his career with the Westmoreland Police Department in 2013 where he completed Basic Police School at Walter’s State Police Academy that same year. In 2014 he began service with the Greenbrier Police Department where he served until 2018. While there he served as both a Police Officer and K-9 Officer. In 2018 he began service with the Lebanon Police Department where he has served in the patrol division as a Police Officer, Field Training Officer, MPO, and Corporal.
While LPD, he has served on both the Crime Scene Team and Hostage Negotiator Team. Additionally, he serves as an instructor in both Emergency Vehicle Operations (EVOC) and DUI Detection and Field Sobriety Testing. He’s completed hundreds of hours of training over his career which has included several specialized schools.
