The parade begins at 7 p.m. at the Mitchell House and will travel east on West Main Street, around the Public Square, and continue along East Main Street before ending at the Wilson County Courthouse. The route will run in the opposite direction of the annual Lebanon Christmas Parade.

Road closures along the parade route are expected to begin around 7 p.m. and last for about an hour. Stone Street will also be closed during the post-parade ceremony.

Motorists are encouraged to use Baddour Parkway or Spring Street as alternate routes to avoid delays.

With heat index values expected to reach around 100 degrees, police are urging attendees to stay hydrated and take precautions against the heat. They also recommend remaining weather aware, as summer storms are possible, and said they will continue monitoring forecasts throughout the event.
