Those who like the unusual, the macabre, the kitschy, and the nerdy will have a chance to shop for unique items with a twist of the macabre made by local artisans and makers, as well as one-of-a-kind vintage pieces at the 7th Annual Rotten Revival 2024. This event is presented by Nashville Curiosities Collective.
Rotten Revival will take place at the Capitol Theatre in Lebanon, Tennessee at 110 West Main Street on June 15 from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. It is one of two events that Nashville Curiosities Collective sponsors each year; they do a second event during the holidays.
Vendors include Artichoke Trinkets, Sacke and Sugar, Jane Dough, Whiskey Kitty Studios, Collections and Curiosities, Fritz Valentine Art, Kelly Curran Photography, Ctrl-Art-Dzn, Melty Cow, Glitter and Toadstools, Inclined to Improvise, OndiRose Curious Crafts, Minor Inconvenience, Viz K Japan, Destiney Hett Art, Babe Cicada Art, Literary Flour, Domestic Craft, Notorious Impressions, Strange and Unusual T-Shirt, DinkyInked Arts, Bomb Pop Boutique, The J. Cater Shop, AP Comfort, Mobsqwui, Pretty Grungy, Bell, Book and Bone, Snazzy Cat Sews, Eldstitch Horrors, Nomadical Art, Yara Designs, Glenn Hughes Art, Magpie: The Art of Melissa and Noseworthy.
One of their vendors, Strange and Unusual T-Shirt, is owned by two artists who design and print their spooky designs in-house. They make tee shirts, bags and backpacks, prints, pins and buttons, stickers and more which they sell at events, markets and online.
Bell, Book and Bone offers ancestor and spirit-led Bone and Tarot readings, life coaching, and Reiki. They, too, can be found at markets and events, as well as, shops like Eclectic Road in Smyrna.
The Collections and Curiosities Facebook page showcases some of the owner’s collections and some of the stock she carries are at events.
Shopping the Nashville Curiosities Collective merchandise table will help to support more of their events in the future.
All ages are welcome, however some booths will carry items that some may deem unsuitable for younger kids. The event is inside, so there is no need to worry about the elements.
There will be food and drink available for purchase, as well as an amazing playlist. Admission is free, and free parking can be found in lots and around the square, where the theatre is located.
