Head-on Collision Closes Highway 109 in Wilson County

July 29, 2024 – A head-on collision caused lanes to be shut down in Wilson County on Monday morning.

Deputies responded to the scene in the 8700 block of Highway 109 North around 6am.

The crash caused a leakage of a significant amount of gas and oil, leaving northbound lanes to be blocked as crews cleared the scene.
