Lebanon Fire Department was dispatched to a residential structure fire in the 1900 Block of Church Hill Downs on Monday.
Crews arrived on scene to find a 4500 square foot house with visible flames and heavy smoke.
A primary search of the structure was conducted as the fire was being extinguished. LFD continued a defensive operation until the fire was under enough control for hand-lines to enter. Crews worked relentlessly to contain the fire from spreading to other structures.
No injuries to firefighters or citizens were reported, however, one dog was lost in the fire.
The fire’s cause and origin remains under investigation by LFD’s Fire Marshal’s Division.
