Overnight traffic changes are in place this week around Nashville International Airport as early work continues on a major expansion project. Crews are preparing the site for a larger rental car facility and parking garage, prompting temporary lane closures on key airport roadways.
From Monday, Nov. 17 through Friday, Nov. 21, single-lane closures will occur between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. along Terminal Drive and BNA Park Drive. Partial closures may begin as early as 8 p.m. in the same area. Airport officials said only one lane will be closed at a time, but drivers should expect changing patterns, reduced speeds, and active work zones.
The project is part of New Horizon, the airport’s ongoing expansion program focused on supporting future growth. Signs and traffic control officers will guide drivers through the overnight changes.
