“Samantha is an awesome human being and wonderful attorney and will make a fabulous addition to our city and team,” City Manager Kenny Martin said. “What made her stand out cannot be explained with just a few words. It was apparent she was the right fit and best choice for our great City. We are blessed to have her.”

Juliet for its beautiful parks, greenways, and business offerings,” Burnett said. “I have also had the opportunity to work on several litigation matters for the City where I have met and worked with countless positive and dedicated City employees. I am excited and grateful to have been given the opportunity to accept the position of City Attorney. I look forward to supporting and contributing to the continued great work of the City!”
Previous City Attorney Gino Marchetti, who has served the City of Mt. Juliet for legal services for approximately 13 years, will work with Burnett during this transitional period.
“City Attorney Gino Marchetti and his team provided steadfast contractual City Attorney services to the City for approximately 13 years,” Martin said. “We are most thankful to Gino and Team for their many years of expertise and professional legal guidance and leadership.”
