Mt. Juliet Parks & Recreation is ready to kick off the summer with the reopening of Ava’s Splash Pad on Tuesday, May 27. The splash pad, located in Charlie Daniels Park, will remain open through September 1.
Regular hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. A special toddler time for children ages 4 and under will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Visitors are reminded that proper swim attire is required, and cotton clothing is not permitted. Rentals are available on Fridays and Saturdays from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The splash pad may close due to weather (including thunder or lightning with a 30-minute delay) or temperatures below 70 degrees. It will also be closed on holidays.
