August 16, 2024 – In the early morning hours of Tuesday, August 13th, members of the Lebanon Police Department and Lebanon Fire Department responded to the Kane & Crowell Law Office located at 133 S. College St. in reference to a structure fire.
The building was unoccupied, and the fire was quickly extinguished. LFD arson investigators and LPD detectives were called to the scene due to the suspicious nature of the fire. LFD fire investigators determined the fire was intentionally set. LPD detectives reviewed surveillance footage and spoke to witnesses to develop a suspect vehicle and then determined the owner using License Plate Reader technology. The next day, detectives took Jerry Travis Tramel (43, of Lebanon) into custody and charged him with one count of Arson and one count of Vandalism $60,000-$250,000.
