Mary Lou Pugh, age 91 of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at The Pavilion Senior Living.
She was preceded in death by parents, Jamie Ray and Athea House; husband, Rev. R. Edward Pugh; granddaughter, Sarah Danielle Bracey; sisters, Rowena Morgan, and Nannie Berry; and daughter-in-law, Dana Carol Pugh.
Survived by son, James E. “Jim” Pugh; grandsons, J. David (Jenny) Pugh and A. Joshua (Kyla) Pugh; granddaughters, Nicole (David) Slover, Leslie (Chris) Savage; great-grandchildren, Rebecca and Nathanial Pugh, Jordon Hill, Jacob Slover and Shelby Savage; brother, Larry R. (Myrtis) House; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Pugh was a Methodist preacher’s wife for over 50 years and was a member of the United Methodist Church her entire life. She was the matriarch of her family and a prayer warrior. She held several positions in discipleship resources of the United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will take place at Partlow Funeral Chapel on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at 4 p.m. with visitation from 2 p.m. until the service at 4 p.m. Rev. Jim Norton will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Chris Savage, David Slover, Jake Slover, Jordan Hill, Garnett Larabee Jr., and Nathanial Pugh.
