A Minor Cold Weather Advisory is in effect for all of Middle Tennessee from midnight tonight until noon CST Monday. At 1:40 PM in Wilson County, the weather is clear with a temperature of 48.7°F, wind speeds at 2.7 mph, and no precipitation.

Today’s high temperature is expected to reach 50°F with a low of 29.7°F. Wind speeds may rise to a maximum of 13.3 mph, and the chance of precipitation remains low at 7%, with no significant accumulation anticipated. Light drizzle has been forecasted yet hasn’t materialized so far.

Tonight, temperatures will drop to a low of 32°F under partly cloudy skies. Winds will continue at speeds up to 13.3 mph, and there remains a 7% chance of precipitation.

The Cold Weather Advisory warns of below-freezing temperatures persisting for 36 hours, including bitter wind chills as low as -3°F on Sunday morning and single-digit lows by Monday morning. Residents should be cautious as these wind chill values could lead to hypothermia if exposure is prolonged.
